As a graduate of the University of Miami Law School, Charlie began his career as
in-house counsel for a bridge money lender in New York, where he cut his teeth working on
large and complex structured finance transactions throughout the Country. In this capacity
the critical aspects of a commercial mortgage deal that can cause it to fail needed to be
addressed, and this helped to lay the foundation for a career in which attention to detail
is key.
With a warehouse of knowledge now in his possession, Charlie left to pursue his
true calling, which is to be out front dealing with the sellers, borrowers and investors
on a personal basis closing loans and arranging financing for a variety of projects. He
formed Commercial Capital Alliance in 1990, and over the years as both a lender and broker
has funded commercial property around the country. Through his work as a continuing
education instructor, presenter at the New York State Bar Association annual meetings and
seminar presenter, he has educated hundreds of mortgage brokers and investors on the
beginning to end process of the commercial mortgage market, which has now led to our 3-DVD
program with 89-page Course Manual. This program has been bought and viewed by 100's with
fantastic feedback.
