By the way, what should we do before we make an appointment with a seller? Make
sure you’re talking to the seller. Ask them, “Are You the Only Seller?” If you
can, double check that with your local counties web site. I had a call one time
when I was already looking a house near where this seller’s house was, so I just
went on over. After about an hour of looking and negotiating, I found out that
the seller wasn’t the only seller. The Uncle was the other seller, and he lived
at the beach and did not really want to sell the house. I could have been working
towards something that I could actually buy or have been home with my family.
So, make sure you have all the sellers, or your contact is the seller early in
the conversation on the phone. This course includes a script used while talking
to sellers. This script will teach you when to say the right things to get more
deals.
